Accountant

About the role

Dairymaster is seeking a motivated Accountant to join its Finance team at the Global Headquarters in Tralee, Ireland. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the company’s financial compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day finance operations, including general ledger entries and reconciliations.
• Process VAT, Intrastat and VIES submissions to the Revenue Commissioners.
• Liaise with the external auditor for year‑end audit and annual stocktake.
• Investigate financial anomalies and report findings to management.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure financial accuracy and efficiency.
• Perform ad‑hoc accounting tasks as assigned by management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Recently qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CPA) is desirable.
• Strong attention to detail, technical knowledge and a willingness to learn.
• Effective communication, interpersonal, organisational and time‑management skills.
• Portfolio (online or soft copy) is a plus.
