Accounts Administrator – Finance Manager

About the role

Eco Smart is expanding its external insulation business across Ireland and needs an experienced Accounts Administrator to lead day‑to‑day financial operations. This full‑time, onsite role will ensure accurate reporting, compliance and continuous improvement of financial processes.

Key responsibilities

• Process daily accounting transactions, including bank receipts, payments and posting of sales and purchase invoices.
• Manage supplier payments and run weekly accounts‑payable cycles.
• Prepare month‑end and year‑end close, management accounts, reconciliations, accruals, pre‑payments and control accounts.
• Submit VAT, PAYE, RCT and other Revenue returns on schedule.
• Monitor cash flow, manage bank accounts and perform bank, credit‑card and supplier reconciliations.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities.
• Develop and strengthen financial controls and accounting procedures.

Required profile

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent).
• 3–5 years of experience in accounting, finance or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Irish tax compliance (VAT, PAYE, RCT) and management accounting.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills for cross‑departmental collaboration.
