Accounts Payable Clerk – Finance Team

About the role

Kepak is looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join its finance team at the Kilbeggan site in County Westmeath. This permanent position reports to the Finance Manager and can be taken on either full‑time or part‑time (four days a week).

Key responsibilities

• Process weekly payroll for approximately 60 employees
• Generate purchase orders and post invoices
• Execute SEPA payments
• Reconcile monthly supplier statements and liaise with suppliers
• File documentation to support finance audits
• Order monthly stationery supplies
• Perform ad‑hoc office duties as required
• Provide holiday cover within the finance department

Required profile

• Previous experience in accounts payable or a similar role
• Proficiency with accounting software and the Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles
