Accounts Receivable Specialist

About the role

The Accounts Receivable Specialist will manage the invoicing and collections process for Production Equipment, ensuring timely receipt of customer payments and accurate financial records. This role supports the finance department in maintaining compliance and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out billing, collection and reporting activities within set deadlines.
• Perform account reconciliations and monitor customer accounts for non‑payments or irregularities.
• Research and resolve customer queries and payment discrepancies.
• Generate aged analysis metrics and review AR aging for compliance.
• Maintain customer master data files and follow procedures for processing bank receipts, cash and credit‑card payments.
• Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to address account concerns.
• Communicate with customers via phone, email or in person.
• Assist with month‑end close activities related to accounts receivable.
• Perform credit checks and propose credit limits in line with company policy.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience in a similar accounts receivable role.
• Solid understanding of bookkeeping principles.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail and strong numerical capabilities.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving and time‑management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Experience using ERP software, preferably SAP or an equivalent system.
