Aftersales Assistant – Customer Service

About the role

The Aftersales Assistant will join the Customer Service Department of Weir & Sons’ Grafton Street store, providing a blend of office administration, sales support and front‑of‑house service. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality after‑sales assistance to clients and premium brand partners while working a 37.5‑hour roster across the week.

Key responsibilities

• Handle customer enquiries by phone and in‑store, ensuring a professional and friendly experience.
• Perform office administration tasks such as data entry, order processing and record keeping.
• Support sales activities, including product recommendations and upselling within the luxury segment.
• Coordinate with premium brand partners to resolve after‑sales issues and fulfil client requests.
• Maintain accurate documentation and attention to detail in all transactions.
• Work flexibly to cover bank holidays and late‑night trading when rostered, with overtime paid.

Required profile

• Customer‑focused with the ability to work well in a structured team environment.
• Professional presentation and an outgoing, friendly personality.
• Previous experience in office administration, call centre or customer service is preferred.
• Excellent phone manner and strong attention to detail.
• Confidence in dealing with luxury clients and brand partners.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
