Air Export Coordinator – Dublin

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Air Export Coordinator to join our growing Dublin team at Nippon Express Ireland. You will own the full export shipment lifecycle, ensuring cargo moves efficiently from booking through to departure while delivering exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate end‑to‑end air export shipments, from customer booking to final departure.
• Book cargo with airlines, secure capacity, monitor flight schedules and manage operational changes.
• Prepare and verify export documentation, including Air Waybills (MAWB/HAWB), commercial invoices, packing lists and export declarations.
• Ensure customs declarations comply with Irish, EU and international regulations.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing proactive shipment updates and resolving queries.
• Liaise with warehouse teams, transport providers, overseas offices and airline partners to meet dispatch schedules.
• Enter shipment costs, validate supplier invoices and complete customer billing in line with tariffs.
• Identify process improvements and contribute to departmental KPI performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in air export freight forwarding and handling international shipments.
• Strong understanding of air cargo documentation and customs compliance.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong customer relationships.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on operational excellence in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Preparation of Air Waybills (MAWB/HAWB).
• Creation and verification of export documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, export declarations).
• Knowledge of Irish and EU customs regulations for export shipments.
