Air Export Operator (Dublin)

About the role

We are an established freight forwarding leader in Dublin seeking an Air Export Operator to own end‑to‑end global, time‑critical air export shipments. The role offers operational freedom, direct carrier negotiation and clear career progression.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of air export shipments from booking through final arrival.
• Liaise with airlines, GSAs and overseas partners to secure space, negotiate spot rates and optimise routing.
• Prepare accurate export documentation, including MAWBs, HAWBs and Irish customs declarations.
• Act as a strategic partner to key accounts, providing transit options and proactive flight tracking updates.
• Control job costing, carrier invoicing and client billing to maintain profitable margins.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in Irish air export forwarding.
• Strong knowledge of aviation security standards (Known Cargo), air documentation and Irish customs procedures.
• Ability to solve problems under tight airport cut‑off times.

Required skills

• Freight management software such as CargoWise, MultiFreight or similar.
