Application Development Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an Application Development & Integration Specialist to design, build and maintain business‑critical applications in a data‑rich environment. You will work closely with stakeholders to translate requirements into robust solutions while supporting system integrations across a modern and legacy technology stack.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain business applications aligned to business needs.
• Design, implement, and support system integrations.
• Investigate and resolve application, data, and integration issues.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Support controlled delivery of changes into production environments.
• Maintain documentation and contribute to continuous system improvements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in software development, systems integration or application support.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to resolve complex technical problems.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Ability to work across multiple systems and manage dependencies.

Required skills

• Strong SQL and relational database expertise.
• Experience with legacy platforms such as IBM i and RPG (advantageous).
