Apprentice Vehicle Technician – Kia North Road

About the role

Joe Duffy Group is seeking motivated individuals to join its Apprentice Technician programme at the Kia service centre in Dublin North. Over a minimum four‑year period you will develop the skills needed to become a fully qualified motor vehicle technician, earning a nationally recognised Level 6 Advanced Certificate.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out routine repairs and servicing on a range of motor vehicles.
• Diagnose faults using appropriate diagnostic equipment and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure all work complies with manufacturer specifications and industry safety standards.
• Participate in both on‑the‑job and off‑the‑job training modules.

Required profile

• Strong interest in motor vehicles and automotive technology.
• Minimum passing grades in English, Mathematics and a science‑based subject.
• Analytical, methodical thinking and a high standard of customer care.
• Willingness to commit to a four‑year apprenticeship and pursue a career as a motor technician.
