Area Manager

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Area Manager to lead a district of retail stores in Dublin. This field‑based position combines strategic oversight with hands‑on store management, ensuring an exceptional customer experience across multiple locations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage a district, holding direct line responsibility for all Store Managers.
• Foster a positive, motivated work environment and promote effective team collaboration.
• Develop, coach, and support Store Managers to drive performance and achieve KPIs.
• Analyse and optimise stock flow, conduct regular cash management checks, and support key projects with actionable feedback.
• Oversee store refurbishments, openings, and re‑openings.
• Create and execute annual business plans and staffing strategies.
• Ensure successful implementation of company strategy across the district and contribute to Area Manager meetings.

Required profile

• A minimum 2:1 degree in any discipline or at least three years of management experience.
• Strong communication, planning, organisational, and analytical abilities.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Motivated, flexible, and hard‑working leadership style.
• Experience in a fast‑paced environment with proven ability to lead and inspire teams.
• Genuine interest in building a long‑term retail career; multi‑site or Area Manager experience is a plus.

• Starting salary of €74,000, rising to €84,500–€114,000 within three years.
