Asbestos Site Manager

About the role

Rhodar is seeking an experienced Asbestos Site Manager to lead removal projects across the Midlands and South‑West region. You will oversee site operations, ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, efficient asbestos abatement.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise asbestos removal activities on a variety of sites and situations.
• Maintain strict adherence to current H&S and asbestos legislation.
• Manage site logistics, including scheduling, resource allocation, and stakeholder communication.
• Ensure all personnel hold required certifications and are properly inducted.
• Monitor project budgets and commercial aspects, providing accurate reporting.
• Promote a culture of safety, quality, and professionalism on‑site.

Required profile

• Previous supervisory experience in asbestos removal.
• Clean driving licence and ability to travel to sites.
• SAFEguard induction (or ability to induct).
• Completion of a three‑day UKATA Asbestos Abatement Supervisor course (internal or external).
• Current CAR medical, valid face‑fit certification, SMSTS, CSCS and IPAF qualifications.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Word and Excel.
• Strong knowledge of asbestos regulations and H&S standards.
• Numeracy and basic commercial understanding.
