Assistant Manager – Fund Accounting (12‑month Fixed‑Term)

About the role

SEI Investments is seeking an Assistant Manager, Fund Accounting to lead a growing team in Dublin on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. You will act as the senior liaison for clients on accounting matters while ensuring the delivery of accurate net asset values (NAVs) and high‑quality service.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on fund accounting queries.
• Deliver timely and accurate NAV calculations.
• Resolve client queries promptly and maintain service excellence.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis of issues and implement effective remediation.
• Ensure adherence to all procedures, controls, and regulatory requirements.
• Train, coach, and mentor junior team members, fostering their development.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide subject‑matter expertise to support new business initiatives.
• Review fund documentation before launches, highlighting operational risks.
• Represent SEI at fund board meetings and present administrator reports as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years experience in alternative funds, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
• Experience in private‑market funds is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of alternative fund structures, domiciles, regulatory frameworks, and performance calculations.
• Proven ability to review and interpret fund and fee documentation.
• Demonstrated coaching and mentoring experience.
• Excellent data‑management capabilities.
• ACC‑qualified (preferred but not essential) and a curious, change‑driven mindset.
