Assistant Manager – Retail

About the role

Fields is looking for an Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in delivering world‑class luxury shopping experiences in our Athlone store. You will use your leadership abilities to drive sales, meet KPIs and help develop a high‑performing team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily sales and service operations, ensuring targets are met.
• Lead by example, motivating the team to provide exceptional customer experiences.
• Implement visual merchandising standards to create attractive, commercial displays.
• Oversee store operations including staff scheduling, stock management, administration, health & safety and security.
• Recruit, train and develop team members, fostering a culture aligned with core values.
• Monitor performance, provide feedback and support succession planning.

Required profile

• Passionate about inspiring and motivating a retail team.
• Strong interest in jewellery, diamonds and watches.
• Excellent communicator with solid interpersonal skills.
• Open‑minded, solution‑oriented and self‑motivated.
