Assistant Restaurant Manager

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the delivery of exceptional food and beverage service across all dining venues of our luxury hotel. You will work closely with the Restaurant Manager to ensure smooth operations, high standards of hygiene, and memorable guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee breakfast, lunch, dinner, private events, room service, afternoon tea and lounge food service.
• Manage staff rosters, supervise team members on shift, and provide coaching and training.
• Maintain strict HACCP and food safety protocols, including temperature checks and proper labeling.
• Control inventory, monitor stock levels, and coordinate ordering for all service areas.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, legal regulations and high‑quality service standards.
• Communicate with the Restaurant Manager regarding staffing needs, performance issues and operational updates.

Required profile

• Proven experience in food service within a 5‑star hospitality environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering luxury guest experiences.
• Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team while maintaining operational efficiency.

Required skills
