Assistant Store Manager – Retail

About the role

Join Holland & Barrett as an Assistant Store Manager and help lead a vibrant retail team in Dunlaoghaire Shopping Centre. You will work closely with the Store Manager to deliver exceptional customer experiences while driving commercial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Store Manager to motivate and develop a high‑performing team.
• Coach colleagues to provide world‑class service and build lasting customer relationships.
• Maintain smooth store operations with a customer‑first mindset.
• Manage sales, cost control, stock accuracy, visual standards and promotional execution.
• Uphold compliance, safety and wellbeing standards across the store.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and ongoing development of team members.
• Complete product training and stay updated on health and wellness trends.

Required profile

• Confident, adaptable leader thriving in a fast‑paced retail environment.
• Clear communicator able to coach, motivate and build trust.
• Commercially aware with a focus on achieving goals.
• Passionate about health, wellness and continuous learning.
• Retail or customer‑service experience with ambition for leadership.
