Assistant Utility Surveyor

About the role

Join the fast‑growing Subsurface Engineering team in Kilcullen, County Kildare. As an Assistant Utility Surveyor you will support senior surveyors in capturing accurate underground utility data for high‑profile infrastructure projects across Ireland.

Key responsibilities

• Operate modern surveying equipment such as Total Stations, GPS units and data collectors on site.
• Record underground utility information and relay it to senior surveyors for client reporting.
• Assist with both field and office surveying tasks, ensuring data quality and compliance.
• Maintain strong client relationships and adhere to project specifications.
• Travel nationwide as required to support various client sites.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in surveying, civil engineering or construction (experience in the surveying industry is a plus).
• FETAC QQI Level 5 qualification or higher.
• Right to work in Ireland and a clean Irish/EU driving licence.
• Excellent planning, organisation and attention‑to‑detail.
