Associate - Litigation & Regulation

About the role

Our award‑winning Litigation and Regulation department is seeking a motivated Associate to join a leading Irish law firm. You will work on high‑profile disputes and regulatory matters for corporate, insurer and public‑sector clients.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and assist with cases before the superior courts and in alternative dispute resolution.
• Handle regulatory investigations, enforcement actions and provide strategic advisory work.
• Draft correspondence, pleadings, witness statements, submissions and settlement agreements.
• Conduct legal research and deliver strategic advice.
• Liaise with external counsel and develop client relationships.
• Supervise and mentor junior colleagues.
• Support other business units and deliver training to colleagues and clients.

Required profile

• 2‑6 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in dispute resolution and regulatory matters.
• Excellent academic record.
• Strong legal research, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organisational, financial and time‑management abilities.
• Proven teamwork capability and high motivation for continuous learning.
