Audit Associate – Part Qualified Auditor (Waterford)

About the role

We are seeking a Part‑Qualified Auditor to join our Waterford audit team. You will work on a varied client portfolio across multiple sectors, gaining exposure to complex audit assignments while receiving support to complete your ACA or ACCA qualification.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute audit engagements for diverse clients.
• Prepare audit documentation and assist with financial statement reviews.
• Interact directly with clients, building strong professional relationships.
• Identify audit risks and perform testing procedures.
• Support junior team members and ensure timely delivery of assignments.
• Collaborate with managers and partners on client engagements.
• Participate in structured training programmes for continuous professional development.

Required profile

• Part‑qualified ACA or ACCA.
• 1‑3 years of audit experience within a practice.
• Proven experience working directly with clients.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Ambitious, detail‑oriented and analytical.
