Audit Manager – Lead Audits & Drive Practice Growth

About the role

Our client, a rapidly expanding accountancy practice in Carlow, is looking for an Audit Manager to join a dynamic audit team. You will work closely with partners and international colleagues, leading audit engagements and contributing to the firm’s growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage a diverse portfolio of audit, accounting and advisory assignments.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring effective planning, budgeting and timely delivery.
• Inspire, coach and develop junior staff while maintaining high standards of work and client service.
• Identify business development opportunities and support advisory projects to expand the practice.

Required profile

• Qualified Accountant with 2–3 years post‑qualification experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting and audit principles, including experience with owner‑managed businesses.
• Proven project‑management ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
• Leadership qualities, analytical mindset, attention to detail and commercial awareness.
• Proactive, adaptable and able to build lasting client relationships.
