Audit Senior

About the role

Our client seeks an experienced Audit Senior to lead audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of small and medium‑sized enterprises (SMEs). You will own the audit process from planning through final reporting, ensuring compliance with industry standards while building lasting client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Lead audit engagements from planning to final reporting for SME clients.
• Ensure adherence to auditing standards, IFRS/GAAP, and regulatory frameworks.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
• Mentor and develop junior audit staff.
• Collaborate with clients to provide financial assurance and advisory insights.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent).
• 3–5 years of progressive audit experience, preferably in public accounting or corporate finance.
• Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
• Commitment to maintaining professional certifications and continuous development.

Required skills

• Proficiency with audit software.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Experience with audit automation and data‑analytics tools.
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
