Audit Senior – Practice (Dublin South)

About the role

We are an established accountancy firm in South Dublin seeking an Audit Senior to join our growing practice. You will work within a tiered team structure, leading audit engagements and supporting the development of junior staff while delivering high‑quality service to a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage audit engagements from planning through to completion.
• Supervise and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and training.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure audits comply with current regulations.
• Prepare financial statements and audit reports.
• Liaise directly with clients, addressing queries and providing expert advice.
• Ensure clients remain compliant with relevant legislation.

Required profile

• Part‑qualified or fully qualified – ACA, ACCA, or CPA.
• Minimum of 3 + years’ relevant experience in an accountancy practice.
• Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards and financial reporting.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Experience with Sage Line 50 and Sage Accounts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word.
