AWS DevOps Engineer – Dublin/Remote (2 days onsite pw)

About the role

We are seeking a mid‑level AWS DevOps Engineer to join a leading Life Science regulatory technology platform team in Dublin. The role is hybrid, with two days on‑site per week, and involves close collaboration with engineering heads, architects, developers and quality teams to deliver secure, automated solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in partnership with architects and development teams.
• Automate deployment, monitoring and incident response using Python (or similar) and Go.
• Manage and optimise Kubernetes clusters, including both building and maintaining environments.
• Implement infrastructure‑as‑code using Terraform and ensure best practices for security at scale.
• Provide technical guidance on AWS services, security, and platform design.

Required profile

• Approximately 5 years of commercial experience in a Platform/DevOps environment.
• Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes clusters beyond simple deployment.
• Strong background with AWS services and Terraform for IaC.
• Daily scripting and automation using Python and/or Go.
• Evidence‑based approach to problem solving and willingness to adapt.
