About the role
Bellingham Castle is looking for enthusiastic Bar & Lounge staff to join its hospitality team. The role combines floor service and bar duties, supporting guests during daily operations, weddings and special events.
Key responsibilities
- Collect dirty glasses and crockery and reset tables.
- Serve drinks to guests at their tables and behind the bar.
- Assist with table service at weddings, events and busy periods.
- Stock the bar, keep it clean and well‑organized.
- Set up tables for events and perform end‑of‑night cleaning.
- Support floor staff during peak times and ensure smooth event operations.
Required profile
- Friendly, motivated and enthusiastic with a customer‑focused attitude.
- Flexible and available to work all weekends year‑round, most Thursdays and various holiday days.
- Comfortable chatting with guests and providing warm, courteous service.
- Willingness to work shift patterns from early afternoon until close (around 3:30 am).
