BIM Lead – Data Centres

About the role

We are seeking a BIM Lead to join a specialist contractor’s digital delivery team for mission‑critical data centre projects across Ireland. This is a fully site‑based, hands‑on position where you will be the primary technical authority for all digital activities on‑site.

Key responsibilities

• Own the digital delivery lifecycle, leading BIM Coordinators and Technicians to meet project milestones.
• Serve as the operational link between site teams, specialist subcontractors and the client, ensuring alignment on digital protocols.
• Coordinate multi‑disciplinary models, identifying and resolving complex MEP spatial conflicts early.
• Produce accurate MEP drawings, technical specifications and schedules in line with the project’s digital blueprint.
• Contribute to research and development of emerging BIM technologies and workflow optimisation.

Required profile

• 7+ years experience on major, complex construction projects, preferably data centre or large‑scale builds.
• Bachelor of Engineering or a related technical degree.
• Strong technical expertise with an MEP focus, and proven ability to mentor junior staff and define digital strategies.
• Excellent organisational, communication and time‑management skills for high‑pressure environments.
