Business Analyst – FinOps & Case Management

About the role

As a Business Analyst in the FinOps team, you will deliver high‑impact analytical outcomes, manage complex data sets, and translate insights into measurable business improvements. The role bridges strategic data analysis with front‑line operational excellence, focusing on case and service management for internal sales customers and external vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between external vendor teams and internal sales customers, resolving complex operational cases.
• Provide front‑line support and host office‑hour consultations for stakeholders, handling high‑complexity issues independently.
• Identify recurring service gaps and design new workflows, resources, and services to drive continuous improvement.
• Conduct strategic analysis, root‑cause analysis, and large‑scale data synthesis to optimize business performance.
• Architect operational metrics, track case health, and produce persuasive reports and dashboards for leadership.
• Support cross‑team initiatives, including integration projects and market/product evaluations.
• Deliver ad‑hoc data‑oriented analyses and quick‑turnaround insights for group leaders.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a case‑management environment supporting dealmaking, contracting, and billing systems.
• Demonstrated vendor‑management expertise with the ability to design independent workflows.
• Strong background in data analysis, synthesis, and experimental design.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP/Billing systems and Salesforce is highly preferred.
• SQL proficiency and experience creating data visualizations and dashboards.
