Business Development Executive

About the role

We are a leading Irish‑owned packaging solutions provider seeking an ambitious Business Development Executive to expand our commercial footprint across Dublin and surrounding counties. Working closely with senior leadership, you will have autonomy to develop your territory while receiving dedicated sales mentoring and professional development.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within the assigned region.
• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline, managing opportunities through to close.
• Develop long‑term relationships with customers and become a trusted commercial partner.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and activity reporting.
• Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators.

Required profile

• 3‑5+ years’ experience in business development, field sales or account management.
• Proven track record of winning new business and meeting sales targets.
• Experience in the packaging industry, preferably with corrugated packaging or carton boxes.
• Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills and a proactive sales approach.
• Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel throughout the territory.
