Business Development Manager – Entry Level Sales/Recruitment

About the role

We are seeking an energetic Business Development Manager to join BMS Performance’s fast‑growing recruitment team in South Dublin. This entry‑level position offers full sales training from day one and a clear path to senior roles in sales, management or specialist recruitment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct high‑volume outbound calls to new and existing clients across Ireland.
• Engage senior decision‑makers, book meetings and qualify business opportunities.
• Generate new business and nurture long‑term relationships with clients and candidates.
• Manage inbound leads, negotiate commercial agreements and close sales.
• Develop a personal market presence and personal brand over time.

Required profile

• Recent graduate or professional from a target‑driven environment (retail, hospitality, sales, customer service, etc.).
• Highly competitive, resilient and comfortable making a high volume of daily calls.
• Coachable, eager to learn and motivated to build a long‑term career.
• Strong ambition and willingness to outwork the competition.

Required skills

• Excellent verbal communication and active listening.
• Ability to handle objections and negotiate commercial terms.
• Proficiency in using a laptop and mobile for CRM and outreach activities.

What we offer

• Base salary dependent on experience with uncapped commission.
• Year 1 OTE €40,000‑€45,000; Year 2 OTE €50,000‑€60,000+.
