Business Development Manager

About the role

This position is aimed at seasoned sales professionals with a hunter mindset who want to grow a territory within a market‑leading European road freight network. Based in Ireland, you will be responsible for generating new B2B logistics business and expanding existing accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across the Irish market.
• Navigate complex B2B logistics sales cycles and engage senior decision‑makers.
• Open key accounts, build long‑term profitable relationships and manage a pipeline of opportunities.
• Take full ownership of a defined territory, driving both new sales and growth of existing customers.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure service delivery meets client expectations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or road freight sales.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve commercial results in a competitive environment.
• Strong hunter mentality with a track record of building and managing territories.
• Based in Ireland and able to work independently.
