Business Development Manager

About the role

NET Recruit is partnering with a leading specialist manufacturer of modular cold storage solutions to find a Business Development Manager who will cover the entire island of Ireland. The role focuses on expanding the company’s presence in the pharmaceutical, chemical and logistics sectors by building new customer relationships and securing growth opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and generate new business opportunities across pharmaceutical, chemical and logistics industries throughout Ireland and Northern Ireland.
• Manage a portfolio of target accounts using an established CRM system, nurturing relationships from first contact to contract signing.
• Develop strategic plans to convert prospects into long‑term customers and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
• Present modular cold‑storage solutions through meetings, presentations and site visits.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are understood and delivered.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to uncover emerging opportunities.
• Produce regular sales reports, forecasts and pipeline updates for senior management.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development or field sales with a track record of winning new business.
• Demonstrated success selling into the pharmaceutical, chemical or logistics sectors.
• Ability to engage senior stakeholders and decision‑makers across multiple industries.
• Strong commercial acumen for selling technical products or solutions.
