Business Development Manager – Medical Technology

About the role

The Business Development Manager – Medical Technology will drive growth across the MedTech sector, identifying new opportunities and building strategic relationships with OEMs, manufacturers and key stakeholders. Based in Galway with a hybrid working model, the role supports expansion across Ireland, the UK, Europe and the USA.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities within the medical technology sector.
• Build and maintain relationships with OEMs, manufacturers and key stakeholders.
• Deliver strategic business development plans to achieve growth targets.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities.
• Generate leads through networking, events, trade shows and digital channels.
• Prepare proposals and deliver customer presentations.
• Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract closure.
• Maintain pipeline activity, forecasting and reporting.
• Represent the business at industry events and exhibitions.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in B2B medical device sales or business development.
• Strong understanding of the MedTech manufacturing environment.
• Proven track record of winning new business and managing key accounts.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Commercially focused with strong analytical skills.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
