Business Development Representative, EMEA

About the role

Telnyx is looking for a Business Development Representative to help expand its sales pipeline across the EMEA region. You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, engaging prospects, and moving them through the sales process while representing a leading global connectivity provider.

Key responsibilities

• Source new sales opportunities through lead follow‑up, outbound calls and emails within a multi‑country EMEA territory.
• Proactively seek and qualify new business opportunities in the market.
• Evaluate customers and use sound judgment to advance them through the sales pipeline.
• Develop tailored sales approaches and pitches that address customer needs and objectives.
• Communicate Telnyx’s value proposition and build professional relationships with prospects.
• Document all sales activity in Salesforce.
• Participate in ongoing training and stay current with new products and services.

Required profile

• Commercial experience in sales or marketing; SaaS experience is a plus.
• Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, listening and interpersonal skills.
• Strong phone presence with the ability to build rapport quickly.
• Empathetic and comfortable speaking to customers at all seniority levels.
• Hands‑on experience with outbound sales techniques such as prospecting, cold calling and emailing.
• Interest in technology and ability to learn quickly.
• Previous telemarketing, cold‑calling and appointment‑setting experience preferred.
• Strong desire to grow a career in a fast‑moving environment.
