Business Senior Auditor

About the role

Flutter Entertainment’s Internal Audit function is a group‑wide team that delivers the annual internal audit plan and supports effective internal controls and risk management. As a Business Senior Auditor you will work as an individual contributor, leading audit engagements and providing assurance and advisory services across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and deliver internal audit engagements in line with Global Internal Audit Standards (GIAS 2024) and internal methodology.
• Assess control design and operating effectiveness, using data analytics and Computer Assisted Audit Techniques (CAATs) to generate actionable insights.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis, consolidate findings into systemic issues and verify that management actions address identified risks through to closure.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with process owners and internal partners, communicating progress, risks and emerging issues.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of audit methodology, technology and team capability.
• Occasional international travel as required.

Required profile

• Strong project and time‑management skills with the ability to handle multiple audits from initiation to delivery.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to adapt style for technical teams and senior partners.
• Proven ability to design and implement risk‑based audit programmes and evaluate governance, process and control weaknesses.
• Confident relationship builder capable of fostering collaboration across the business.
