C295 Aircraft Manager

About the role

Airbus International Services (AIS) is seeking a C295 Aircraft Manager to lead maintenance events for the Airbus Defence & Space LTA MRO network. The role will involve coordinating end‑to‑end maintenance activities, working closely with the customer, service programme office and internal teams, and may require an initial 18‑month assignment in Thailand.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle of assigned maintenance events, from preparation through execution to close‑out.
• Develop industrial solutions and cost‑effective quotations for each event.
• Serve as the primary contact for the customer and AD&S Service Programme Office during events.
• Provide technical assistance for troubleshooting, including engineering support when needed.
• Coordinate with program, local teams, manufacturing engineering, production control and quality.
• Lead the MFT (Production, Production Control, Engineering, Quality) for each event.
• Ensure compliance with milestones such as quality gates, CAMO requirements, cost directives and planning.
• Define statements of work for subcontractors and confirm internal/external resources.
• Drive on‑time delivery, customer satisfaction and continuous improvement through lessons learned.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing aircraft maintenance events, preferably within the aerospace or defence sector.
• Strong ability to coordinate cross‑functional teams and communicate with customers.
• Excellent organisational skills with a focus on cost control, safety and regulatory compliance.
• Willingness to work on international assignments, starting with a mission in Thailand.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of the C295 aircraft platform.
• Experience with MRO processes and CAMO compliance.
• Familiarity with production control, engineering coordination and quality management in an aerospace environment.
