About the role

Castleknock Hotel, an award‑winning 4‑star property in Dublin 15, is seeking a dedicated C&B Night Porter to join its hospitality team. The role involves delivering exceptional guest service during the late‑night shift while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety across the hotel.

Key responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service to guests arriving or staying overnight.
• Maintain the appearance and order of public areas, corridors, and guest rooms.
• Assist with luggage handling, room inspections, and minor guest requests.
• Ensure security protocols are followed and report any incidents promptly.
• Collaborate with other hotel departments to coordinate guest needs.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a Night or Day Hotel Porter position.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong communication abilities.
• Adaptable, creative and able to follow instructions under changing circumstances.
• Effective time‑management and task‑prioritisation skills.
• Outgoing, friendly personality and a team‑oriented mindset.
