Certified Nursing Assistant – Pediatric Surgery Center (PRN)

About the role
Baptist Health is looking for a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support the Pediatric Surgery Center at Wolfson Children’s Hospital. This PRN days position works 2‑3 days per week, Monday‑Friday, with no weekend shifts.
Key responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living.
- Maintain a safe environment for patients.
- Collect laboratory specimens.
- Monitor patient intake and output.
- Document care in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervising RN.
Required profile
- Certified Nursing Assistant with a valid state license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse in a fast‑paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; no prior experience required.
Required skills
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.
- Electronic Health Record (EHR) documentation.
- Laboratory sample collection.
