About the role

Oxfam Ireland is looking for an enthusiastic tele‑fundraiser to join its growing telemarketing team. You will engage existing donors and supporters, encouraging them to continue or increase their contributions to support Oxfam’s international development work.

Key responsibilities

  • Contact previous regular donors to encourage repeat giving.
  • Reach out to supporters of Oxfam campaigns to promote monthly gifts.
  • Upgrade active donors by proposing higher monthly contributions.
  • Make thank‑you calls to loyal donors to express appreciation.
  • Work a 35‑hour week, Monday to Friday, 11 am – 7 pm.

Required profile

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong spoken English.
  • Passionate, determined and committed to Oxfam’s mission.
  • Interest in international development, NGOs or the charity sector.
  • Fundraising experience is an advantage but not essential; full training will be provided.
