Clinical Nurse Manager

About the role

Curam Care Homes is looking for a Clinical Nurse Manager to lead the nursing team at its Knockrobinhill Nursing Home in Wicklow Town. The role combines clinical expertise with project and service management to ensure the highest standards of resident care and staff safety.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day clinical operations and maintain high‑quality resident care across older‑person, dementia/Alzheimer’s and step‑down services.
• Develop and deliver continuing education and professional development programmes for all staff grades.
• Manage service delivery, quality assurance and risk management to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams, fostering a collaborative and learning‑focused environment.
• Coordinate staffing rotas, ensure appropriate skill mix and respond to emergent care needs.

Required profile

• Current registration (or eligibility) with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland.
• 2‑3 years of post‑registration nursing experience, preferably in gerontology or dementia care.
• Post‑registration qualification in gerontology and/or dementia care is highly desirable.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational abilities.
• Legal right to work in Ireland.
