Clinical Nurse – Residential & Community Care

About the role

NuaHealthcare Services is seeking a qualified Clinical Nurse to join its multidisciplinary team in Naas, County Kildare. The role focuses on safe medication management, clinical supervision and delivery of specialised health services across residential, supported living and community settings.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure best practice in the safe management and administration of medication throughout the service.
• Organise and manage clinical clinics, including psychiatric clinics and health‑check programmes.
• Provide clinical supervision and training to the nursing team.
• Support the development of policies, protocols and specific health‑management plans for new admissions.
• Administer depot injections and perform phlebotomy as required.
• Collaborate with other health‑care professionals and respond to clinical needs across the service.

Required profile

• Professional registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
• Effective communication skills with team members, management and external partners.
• Post‑graduate qualification relevant to nursing practice is preferred.
• Interest in obtaining a nurse prescribing qualification within the first year is advantageous.
