Clinical Trial Assistant

About the role

The Clinical Trial Assistant will support the successful execution of Scout studies, working closely with Project Management teams to ensure operational excellence and high‑quality delivery across all trial activities.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate assigned study activities with Project Managers, ensuring milestones are met.
• Maintain study calendars, schedule onboarding, training sessions and project meetings.
• Prepare, review and finalize study documentation and required reports.
• Communicate proactively with external stakeholders and client operations teams.
• Configure and manage study setups in the Scout Clinical portal, including user credentials and access.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as the Patient Liaison group and manage client‑facing communications.
• Process and track invoices for translation and other study‑related services.
• Send customer surveys, compile data and manage virtual card payments and ScoutPass distribution.
• Provide minor technical support to portal users and contribute to special projects.

Required profile

• BS or BA degree or equivalent experience (preferred).
• 1‑2 years experience in clinical research or related field (strong plus).
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and customer‑service orientation.
• High coachability, growth mindset and excellent interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook.
• Familiarity with Internet Explorer.
• Basic understanding of foreign currency conversion to USD.
