Cloud Security Engineer

About the role

Fin is an AI‑driven customer‑service platform looking for a Cloud Security Engineer to join its Cloud Security team. The team safeguards the cloud environments that power Fin’s AI Agent, working closely with infrastructure and product engineering to embed security into every stage of development and operation.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement secure architectures across Fin’s AWS cloud environments.
• Build and maintain protective and detective controls to increase visibility of threats.
• Develop detection‑engineering capabilities that identify attacker behaviour and shorten detection and response times.
• Lead cloud‑security investigations and incident‑response activities in partnership with engineering teams.
• Participate in a shared on‑call rotation and coordinate response actions.

Required profile

• Proven experience securing cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Hands‑on experience with detection engineering, security monitoring and incident response.
• Ability to work collaboratively with infrastructure and product teams.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and willingness to operate in an on‑call environment.
