Colleague Manager – Retail Store (Liffey Valley, Dublin)

About the role

The Colleague Manager will lead the Liffey Valley store team, driving a culture of excellence, safety and customer focus. You will be accountable for the full employee experience, from hiring through performance management, while ensuring the store operates smoothly and meets its sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Take full ownership of your direct reports, mentoring and developing them to achieve their best.
• Collaborate with store leadership to deliver shared objectives and act swiftly on customer feedback.
• Ensure the store trades safely and legally, supporting Shift Leads and Sales Advisors without performing operational tasks yourself.
• Implement launches, events and campaigns flawlessly, driving accurate execution of processes and guidelines.
• Lead high‑performance initiatives, coaching the team to deliver consistent, exceptional customer experiences and meet sales targets.
• Manage the full colleague lifecycle – hiring, onboarding, scheduling, holiday management, duty of care, returns to work and performance reviews.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire and hold accountability for a retail team.
• Strong communication skills and flexibility to adapt to evolving business priorities.
• Commitment to listening to colleague feedback and creating a great place to work.
• Ability to drive performance, manage talent and ensure compliance with learning requirements.

Required skills

• Digital confidence with Time & Attendance (T&A) systems.
• Experience using MyHR platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Teams.
• Ability to work with PowerBI for reporting and analysis.
