About the role

Join the culinary team at The iNUA Collection as a Commis Chef, supporting senior chefs in delivering high‑quality dining experiences for hotel guests. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on training in a dynamic, fast‑paced kitchen environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing fresh ingredients, portioning and ensuring quality.
• Perform basic cooking tasks such as chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and cooking proteins under supervision.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, equipment and storage areas in line with hygiene and safety standards.
• Follow recipes and standard operating procedures to guarantee consistency.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to complete orders promptly.
• Support stock rotation and inventory management to minimise waste.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and maintain a safe kitchen environment.
• Demonstrate willingness to learn and develop culinary skills.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a hotel or restaurant kitchen is preferred but not essential.
• Culinary school education or relevant vocational training is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment and stay calm under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
