Communication and Engagement Lead

About the role

The Communication and Engagement Lead will design and deliver internal communication and employee engagement programmes for Dublin Airport. The role aims to improve workplace culture, boost employee engagement and support the airport’s business priorities through clear, compelling messaging.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a DAP communication and engagement strategy aligned with the airport’s objectives.
• Create and maintain content for internal channels, including the intranet, newsletters, emails, videos and presentations.
• Manage an internal communications calendar and coordinate with senior management to ensure consistent messaging.
• Lead the annual engagement survey, communication cascades and follow‑up action planning.
• Design and run surveys and feedback activities to capture the employee voice.
• Produce regular engagement metrics reports and use data to refine communication tactics.
• Support HR in delivering a best‑in‑class onboarding experience.
• Handle crisis communications to keep staff informed.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of relevant communications experience in a fast‑paced environment.
• Third‑level qualification in business or a related discipline.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, strong editing and proof‑reading abilities.
• Creative flair with a track record of innovative engagement initiatives.
