Communications Lead (6-month contract)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Communications Lead to join our multinational team in Citywest on a 6‑month contract. This hybrid role will drive internal and external communications, protect and enhance our corporate reputation, and work closely with senior leadership. You will also lead and mentor a small communications team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic internal and external communications plans.
• Partner with senior leadership, including the General Manager, on reputation management and communications strategy.
• Lead media relations, corporate messaging, executive communications, and social media activity.
• Support brand teams with communications strategies that drive business objectives.
• Manage stakeholder engagement and provide crisis communications support when required.
• Create high‑quality content such as press releases, presentations, speeches, and briefing materials.

Required profile

• 5+ years of communications experience, preferably within healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or another highly regulated industry.
• Proven experience in corporate communications, media relations, and stakeholder management.
• Strong strategic thinking with excellent writing, influencing, and relationship‑building skills.
• People‑management experience, including leading and mentoring a small team.
• Experience advising senior executives and managing communications in complex environments.
