Community Coordinator – Code Club Ireland

About the role

The Code Club Foundation is seeking a Community Coordinator to drive the growth and engagement of its coding clubs across Ireland. Working remotely with regular travel, you will support schools, libraries, museums and other community venues to launch and sustain clubs for young people aged 9‑16.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and monitor activities that increase the number of active Code Clubs in Ireland.
• Identify, build and maintain relationships with new and existing partners to raise awareness of Code Club.
• Organise and deliver national and regional training events, workshops and community activities, both online and in person.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the Foundation to share expertise and coordinate initiatives.
• Use data to inform decisions, track progress and demonstrate impact over time.
• Develop structured work plans aligned with the Foundation’s objectives.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering educational programmes in schools or community settings in Ireland.
• Demonstrated ability to support volunteers from diverse backgrounds.
• Track record of establishing successful partnerships and communicating with stakeholders at all levels.
• Flexible, creative and willing to experiment, evaluate and iterate.
• Passion for digital making and the mission of empowering young people.
• Previous involvement with Code Club, CoderDojo or similar coding initiatives is an advantage.
