Community & Fundraising Manager

About the role

The Community & Fundraising Manager will lead the development of corporate partnerships, community fundraising initiatives and volunteer engagement across the Munster region. Working from home with regular travel, you will act as the face of the charity, building relationships with businesses, schools, community groups and supporters to grow income and impact.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and secure fundraising and sponsorship opportunities with local and regional businesses.
• Develop new partnership opportunities and diversify income streams throughout Munster.
• Support and motivate community groups, schools and volunteer fundraisers to deliver successful campaigns.
• Maintain strong relationships with supporters, volunteers and key stakeholders.
• Represent the organisation at events, presentations, community activities and networking functions.
• Assist regional fundraising campaigns and events to meet income and engagement targets.
• Provide guidance, support and recognition to volunteer teams.
• Monitor fundraising activity, manage budgets and ensure accurate reporting.

Required profile

• Previous experience in fundraising, business development, sales, partnerships, account management or community engagement.
• Strong relationship‑building and networking abilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Highly organised, self‑motivated and comfortable working independently.
• Positive, energetic and proactive attitude.
• Full clean driving licence and access to personal transport.
