Community Liaison Officer – Renewable Energy Projects

About the role
Statkraft is seeking a Community Liaison Officer to act as the primary contact for local communities surrounding its renewable energy projects in Ireland. Based in Cork or Tullamore, you will support the Communications and Stakeholder Management division throughout the pre‑development and development phases.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the single point of contact for local communities, communicating project information and gathering feedback.
- Support Project Development Teams and the Stakeholder Manager in community engagement activities.
- Promote Statkraft’s reputation by advocating for projects and building strong community relationships.
- Identify and develop opportunities for community benefit and collaboration.
- Deliver project updates through leaflets, booklets, websites, social media and other channels.
- Manage and respond to community feedback, ensuring actions are communicated back.
- Maintain detailed records of engagements and advise project teams on community aspirations.
Required profile
- Excellent communicator with proven ability to engage individuals and groups.
- Experience working with local communities on renewable or similar projects.
- Strong understanding of community dynamics and stakeholder relations.
- Proactive attitude and ability to identify community‑gain opportunities.

- SharePoint
- Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- General IT systems proficiency
