Compliance Counsel – Dublin

About the role

CRH is seeking a Compliance Counsel to join its Global Compliance Program in Dublin. Reporting to the Senior Compliance Counsel, you will work within the Legal & Compliance function to design, implement and continuously improve compliance initiatives across the group.

Key responsibilities

• Support the design and rollout of the Global Compliance Program, owning specific program areas and related reporting.
• Conduct horizon scanning of regulatory developments across CRH’s worldwide footprint.
• Provide thought‑leadership on best practices, ensuring the program meets the standards of a NYSE‑listed company.
• Collaborate with business units and Group functions on legal issues that affect compliance.
• Develop, maintain and update global compliance policies.
• Lead or support compliance initiatives in areas such as competition/antitrust, data privacy, cyber, AI, bribery, fraud, international trade and whistleblowing.
• Assist with hotline reporting, investigations and related follow‑up actions.

Required profile

• Mid‑senior level experience in corporate compliance or legal advisory roles.
• Strong understanding of international regulatory frameworks relevant to a global construction materials group.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work cross‑functionally.
• Proactive mindset and ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
