About the role
A permanent Compliance Officer position based in Kildare town, reporting to the Food Safety and Quality (FSQ) Manager. The role protects the integrity of the company through positive and constructive action and attitude, and offers a next step in a career within the food safety and quality sector.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and oversee the FSQ function, including micro results and trending, internal audits, traceability and HACCP
- Manage site quality systems, hygiene, supplier approval and pest control
- Drive development of the quality system and enhance the food safety culture across the site
- Provide leadership, develop employees, review processes and ensure compliance with company standards, with overall accountability for the department
Required profile
- Skills and experience in the food safety and quality sector
- Knowledge of food safety principles
- Attention to detail and quality, with a hands-on, self-motivated approach
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, coaching and negotiation skills
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Hygiene systems and ERP management systems
