Construction Contracts Manager

About the role

Clancy, a leading Irish construction firm, is seeking a Construction Contracts Manager to lead project teams on a range of residential, commercial and specialised environments. The role is based in Dublin and involves overseeing contract delivery from pre‑construction through to handover, ensuring safety, quality and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Act as overall project team leader for assigned sites, representing Clancy professionally.
• Develop and execute the Project Execution Plan covering health & safety, design, procurement, logistics, temporary works, constructability, quality and turnover.
• Coordinate with statutory authorities, clients and design teams to secure site start dates and maintain compliance.
• Set design strategy, including BIM and DRM, and manage any novated services.
• Prepare, monitor and update baseline programmes; produce fortnightly progress reports.
• Manage subcontractors, conduct progress and pre‑order meetings, and ensure adequate resources on site.
• Maintain Clancy’s quality, environmental and safety standards across all projects.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading construction contracts and delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Strong understanding of health & safety legislation and quality management systems.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, clients, design consultants and regulatory bodies.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
